I only call him this on Thanksgiving...it was his childhood nick name, from the Seattle children's TV show "JP Patches," which had a character called Kevin Turkey. Appropriate enough when one is named Kevin, and you are carving the turkey.
Don't these guys look thrilled? In reality, they were very patient, starving fellows...that little bird took longer than usual to cook.
With Fall Comes Falling Leaves...
This is not normally an amazing event, but we woke up one morning earlier this month and the leaves from our maple were falling. They were falling FAST. It sounded like rain. In one day they had completely fallen off. We had a beautiful yellow carpet on the driveway. I don't know why they were in such a hurry...
